When we started The Engineering Workshop, we wanted to aim for the local area. Although we have carried out a few projects in Essex, it is interesting to see how far we have travelled around the UK in the last few years.

We are following the governments guidance and pleased to advise that we are back carrying out site visits and surveys when required. Meetings can be carried out in person, although the majority are still carried out remotely using Teams/Zoom/Google etc. At the moment, this is our preferred option if possible.
We have been working hard (~ish!) during the lockdown period and have a number of schemes due to start on site. This includes a number of healthcare, retail and residential projects.
We are very happy that we have started working with Travis Perkins and their design teams on a number of schemes nationwide including new sites, refurbishments and conversions of existing buildings. This is an exciting new client for us and allows us to be part of a fast paced and progressive strategy.
As the UK starts to take some tentative steps to the end of lockdown, TEW are pleased to say we are working hard on a couple of new schemes – a mixed use residential scheme in the heart of Colchester, Essex, and a community refurbishment project in Margate, Kent. With other site projects starting up again as well, it looks like we are in for a busy second half of the year.
